The Cottage Treasures Tea Room became a reality after the Lord put it on my heart in the spring of 2005, that he wanted me to open a tea room as a ministry for Him in conjunction with Cottage Treasures Gift Shop. I was not sure how that was going to happen since at that time, the part of the house the tea room is located in now, had been leased by Catoosa County and they were housing the EMTs in that area. But the Lord knew. I started researching about tea rooms and then in August of 2005, I was told the EMTs were being moved to another site. So I told the owner of the house that I wanted that area and was going to open a tea room as a ministry for the Lord. In January, 2006, we started building a kitchen; painting and decorating the various rooms of the tea room. Cottage Treasures Tea Room opened on April 13, 2006, and the rest is history.

In the Tea Room we serve lunch Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. We do bridesmaid luncheons, baby showers, little girls tea parties (age 6 years and up), birthday parties and other special occasions. There are four separate rooms, The Rose Room, The Teacup Room, The Hydrangea Room and the Mother's Room, which can seat a combined total of 34-36 people at one time.
